I caught this small butterfly or moth the other day when I was on the train tracks looking for bones. I put it in a little jar and let it die. After its death, I put it in the freezer to make sure it was dead. I took it out and let it warm up. Luckily for me I didn't have to let the butterfly (or moth) rest. It was fully flexible. I used a common needle used for sowing to hold it in place while I worked on the wings. I then put two small pieces of paper over the wings and pinned them down in order to keep the wings in the position I intended. I plan to let it dry until May 9th. I'll check on it then.
